Organics By Gosh is pleased to be doing our part to keep brush material out of the landfill. This allows us, as well as our community, to be better stewards of the environment. Brush recycling provides many different benefits to the environment by having the brush ground into nutrient-rich mulch. Mulch can then be used in gardens and flower beds to conserve soil moisture, improve fertility and health of the soil, provide plant protection during heavy rains, reduce weed growth and enhance the overall visual appeal of the space.

Do you have brush, yard, tree trimmings, lawn clippings, leaves, food waste or other compostable materials? We want them! The process is easy. Stop by the retail office at our our compost facility at 2040 FM 969, Elgin, TX 78621. We’ll point you to where you can drop off your materials. We’ll turn your compostable residuals into high-quality compost and landscaping products.

A few things to keep in mind when using our facility: Loads must be free from grass, paper, cardboard, metal, plastic, glass, cans, bottles etc. We don't accept large bolts and large screws. No broken concrete, trash bags, soil, dead plants with roots and palm trees
